Manuscript Features

• Fols. 1, 15, 24, 30 and 36 are missing.

• The folio numbers 17, 19, 26, 28, 29 (with the following order on microfilm 28, 29, 28, 29) and 34 (with the following order on microfilm: 34, 35, 34) are assigned twice to two successive folios each.

• The text ends with the 1th pāda of the 5th adhyāya.

• On the microfilm, fol. 10r and fol. 10v appear in reverse order.

• In the colophon two dates are given, one (1989 mite vikramasamvatsare śrāvaṇamāsasya viṃśatītamadivase guruvāsare) the date of copying, the other (saṃ 363 pauṣa budha 10) the date of the manuscript from which the present copy was made; saṃ 363 is probably N.S. 363.

• The colophon names not only the scribe, Divyaratna Vajrācārya, but also the corrector, Rāmacandra Śarmā.

• Occasionally the scribe leaves out a few akṣaras, which he apparently could not read in the manuscript he copied the text from. The text contains occasional scribal errors, which are not indicated in the Excerpts.
